WE HAVE OVER 24 YEARS SELLING FAN CONVERSION SETUPS ON EBAY. WE ARE THE ONES TRIED AND TESTED TOUGH!! We have been installing electric cooling fan conversions on our customers cars for years with great results in gas mileage and in power increase. This is something that should have been done from the factory on every car built, but the factories were too cheap and used crank driven fans instead. It has only been the past few years that the factories have decided to spend the extra money and use electronic cooling set ups. Over 20 years that we have been selling electric fan kits on eBay and we have been installing fan kits from our shops and mobile install trucks for over 25 years on everything from race cars, to municipal vehicles, to plow trucks. We install, we sell, we design, we research. We are starting to see other copy cats popping up. They have done no research, most likely they have never even installed a kit. The worst part is they are using cheap fans that don’t have enough CFM and that can not cool an engine the way they should. Anyone who tries to sell you an electric fan kit for a V8 that has a rating of under 2500 CFM is proof that they have no clue what is going on. The smallest V8 out there will need a minimum of 2500 CFM to keep the car cool in summer heat and daily driving. We have seen sellers selling one 14 inch fan rated at 1300 CFM and listing it for a V8 Mustang and the same kit for a Chevy K1500 full size 4×4 truck. This is the problem with copy cats, they don’t care if your engine blows because it overheats, they got your money already. You will also find copy cats selling fan kits that use a shroud and use a Spal controller but use cheap china low grade fans, but by the way the auction reads you think your getting everything Spal, wrong your getting cheap low grade china garbage fans. Be sure to ask what brand they use and how many amps they pull and how long is the warranty on the fans, then you will get your answers. Also with a shroud that is flat and covers the radiator completely will actually hurt airflow while the vehicle is moving. This is why on the high grade kits (600.00 and up) that are shrouded you will see there are flaps and air vents built in so when your vehicle is moving the air can still flow through the radiator. Flat aluminum shrouds that cover the entire radiator with no vents will make your vehicle run hotter and cause the fans to run more often then needed because the air gets slammed into a flat wall and can not flow through the rad efficiently. Anyone who tried to sell a full shrouded enclosed system with the only outlets being where the fans are mounted just does not understand cooling systems. They are just out to make a buck. Factory shrouds are not flat, they are concave so when the air flows into the rad it channels out down the slopes with almost no pressure buildup. Flat shrouds that block the entire radiator core are a big no no. Watch out for sellers that don’t have a clue, ask questions on what brand everything is. You won’t find any tricks or cheap parts with our kits, every one of our kits is over kill, more CFM than what the engine needs, no airflow blockage and low amp draw top quality fans. Every kit we sell is tried and tested in person, hands on in summer temps of 110 degree so you know when you buy a kit from us that it is going to work. We have had people from Nevada that ask for a kit and if we feel that in the summer months it won’t cool that vehicle up to our standards we tell them sorry it’s not going to work, stick with your factory setup. This has everything needed to convert your crank driven fan to an electric unit which will save you gas and increase your horsepower at the same time and get rid of that annoying whirlwind sound the factory fan makes, while reducing the amount of stress on your engine and your water pump. This is good for 7-15% more miles to the gallon of gas along with freeing up 7-15 horsepower depending on engine and it will reduce the stress placed on the engine and extend your water pump life. The fan has a sealed ball bearing motor assembly, fully computer balanced steep pitched fan blades to deflect heat and hold shape and pitch better, eight leg curved blade design that is fully balanced with weights to insure perfect operation, heavy gauge wires to carry the current, super strong red molded nylaglass cages (not your cheap plastic like others out there), high efficiency sealed ball bearing motors and ultra light blades make this the lowest amp draw electric fan kit out there for Grand Cherokees. This entire system pulls just over 16 amps. That’s less amps then a set of offroad lights. Fan system is also the lightest fan available for the Cherokee, this entire system, fan,shroud,control system will come in weighing right around 7lbs, which should save you upto 30lbs off your front end of your Grand Cherokee when all is said and done. Most factory Grand Cherokee clutch fan setups weighs in at over 30lbs with everything. Once the Cherokees stock clutch fan and clutch assembly, shroud and brackets are remove you will have cut some serious weight off the front end. CFM rating on this system is 3600cfm total. This system will cool your rock crawler, mod bogger and street truck, even if your running a 360 magnum under the hood. Design is equally as important, if not more important than CFM. A well designed system rated at 1500 CFM can out cool a poorly designed system rated at 3000 CFM, this is a proven fact. Keep this in mind when choosing a system. If an ffd fan ever fails for whatever reason, be it falling off a bridge under water,t ree limb going through the cage, car fire, or good old it just plain stopped working FFD will replace it no questions asked for as long as you own it. Now if that does not tell you how well FFD builds there fans we don’t know what will. The new FFD extreme fan control system will allow you to adjust your fans to turn on at any temperature between 125 and 250 degrees with the turn of a dial and be completely automatic,set the temp and the controller does the rest.. You decide the temp you want the fans to turn on at. This is fully fused and short circuit protected. Very simple hook up, less than 1 hour for people with basic automotive skills. Temperature hook up has a slide through radiator probe to make the install fast and clean. All wires are color coded so the easy to follow directions are as simple as possible. Past test vehicles picked up from .75 mpg – 2.1 mpg increase in gas mileage (results will vary depending on engine size, transmission type, clutch fan condition etc etc – this is why the test vehicles are so far apart in there gains) although this does not sound like a lot, it will amount to a huge saving over the years, with gas prices edging towards that $4.00 a gallon mark you need every trick you can get.
